Attracting the Land Guardians Attention
A set of offerings is placed on the ground to entice the land guardians and let them know the ceremony is going to begin. The ancestral energies can't resist the offerings of:
One boiled whole chicken, white whiskey- 20,30 or 45 proof, 2 rolls of betel leaf, 2 lit candles, and a young coconut.
One stick of incense stuck in the chicken activates the offerings, kind of like a dinner bell!
