Guardian spirits of the Bridges
We found this san jaothi guarding a charming brick bridge over a natural stream outside a central Thai village. The spirits of bridges have very important duties to protect the safety of travelers. Equally important is to pay respect to the bridge guardian when crossing over the bridge, otherwise the spirits may decide not to let you pass.
The bridges of the outer world reflect those within us. Imagine what could happen if we took more time to honor the guardians of our own inner bridges -connecting our hearts to our consciousness.
