The official mediators between the human realm and the astral realm are the Shaman-Brahman priests. Their paranormal abilities come through a transmission of ascended master gurus called rishi (Paw Rusee). Rishis are hermits, meditation masters and healers that live in the forest. The food of the rishi is nothing that needs cultivation. They are gatherers and eat from the earth.
