The spirit houses placed next to trees are usually low to the ground with four or six legs. Sometimes they have no legs at all and sit right on the ground next to a large tree. A spirit house like this is hard to find in the city. They are usually made in rural areas for a specific land guardian of the area that connects to the tree.
