The Romantics
This one of a kind spirit house is set in the gardens of a colonial style heritage home in Bangkok. The spirit house, over 50 years old, was custom made with a European flair to match the ivory color house. The chedi at the top is a rare display of distinctly Buddhist architecture in a spirit house. Red rose offerings are symbolic of Rama 5, King Chulalongkorn, considered one of the greatest kings of Thailand who had European tutors and was an advocate of modernization. The gardens are equally beautiful, creating a romantic setting for a classical and lovely spirit house.
